To enhance and complement the user’s onsite experience, LAAS will enable Library users to search and browse the physical library virtually 24 by 7. As users search and browse the library online, they will discover the latest returned books and new arrivals by subject categories and obtain the exact location of the books on a digital map of the library.
Discover resources anytime anywhere without visiting the library
Once they have located the book, they are able to browse the vicinity to discover other books on the same topic, without visiting the library. After the online browsing, if patrons find materials that they need, they can make their way to the library and borrow the books that they want to consult.
