Incorporated in July 2000, Library & Archives Solutions Pte Ltd (LAAS) formerly known as Cybrarian Ventures Pte Ltd (CVPL), a wholly-owned company of the National Library Board Singapore (NLB), is the NLB’s corporate vehicle to market NLB’s expertise, products and services in Singapore and overseas. Using the NLB’s successful and time-tested library and archives development methodology and sharing the NLB’s experience and expertise have been LAAS’s unique value proposition to libraries in Singapore and overseas. LAAS offers its clients similar technological solutions that have been tested, developed or implemented in NLB’s network of libraries. These include OneSearch, e-Reads, mobile checkout service and using robotics to gather useful data for new services.
